Cover Your Gameboy Games!

I'm sure many of you have already heard about the GBA/GBC/GB to DS cover project that has been going on for a while now. This is just a sample of the results that I got with my experience of the whole ordeal.

DS-ifying Project Results

So here's the front with Metroid Prime:Hunters demo, Zelda:Oracle of Seasons, Drill Dozer and Final Fantasy I&II. At first, I thought I would have to go through the Kinko's route of printing out the covers on semi-gloss paper and such. But I read somewhere that someone just used their regular printer and were happy with their results. So using my Epson Stylus Photo printer and regular printing paper, this is what I got. One thing to note is if you look closely at the Metroid and Zelda covers, you can see a white strip on the right side. When I downloaded the covers, there was no need to resize the pic, as it was already sized to fit the cover once you cut it out, so I made no changes to the cover. Not sure as to how to remedy this, as with the Drill Dozer cover, I cut the white strip out, but it leaves a small portion of the cover exposed. Anyway, the route that I'm taking here doesn't involve too much work, to which I'm sure if I had put some effort into it, I would get better results.

The back side.

Inside the covers for Metroid and Drill Dozer. Cuts are to be made to fit the instruction booklets for GBA/GBC/GB games, otherwise your case will look like it's about to burst. Cuts are also to be made for the over-sized GBA games themselves, like Drill Dozer and Yoshi Topsy-Turvy, and for...

...the GBC/GB games as well. Not too hard to do.

And here they all are, one nice big happy family. Project is still on-going, as I need to do covers for several more GBA/GB games.
